Mercury’s Ultra Low Current TTL/CMOS Oscillators Now Available Mercury is proud to introduce their new 5.0 x 3.2 x 1.2mm and 5.0 x 7.0 x 1.4mm 4 pad leadless ceramic surface mount ultra low current TTL/CMOS compatible clock oscillators. These oscillators are specifically designed for portable and hand-held battery operated consumer electronic devices where board space is at a premium and battery consumption is at a minimum. The typical current consumption at a frequency of 10.000MHz can be as little as 0.7mA and up to 5.0mA at a frequency of 50.000MHz. While in the disabled mode the current consumption can be less than 2uA. This insures a much longer battery life for your consumer. The available frequencies range from 0.25MHz up to 50.000MHz with input voltages of +1.8V, +2.5V and +3.3V and a typical fanout or drive capability of 12mA. The frequency stability over the operating temperature range can be as tight as +/-20ppm over -40C to +85C to as loose as +/-100ppm over -10C to +70C. The phase noise performance is -130dBc/Hz at a 10KHz offset. These oscillators are both RoHS compliant and lead-free to meet your environmental requirements.
